BAHAMAS DISTRICT ANCHOR SPEECH COMPETITION
9 students participated in the Annual Bahamas District Anchor Speech Competition. The topic was "What Does Service Look Like?".
Members of local Toastmaster Clubs assisted with training of the students and judging of the competition.
On Saturday, November 28th, the Bahamas District hosted a Prayer Breakfast under the theme "Let Us Give Thanks With a Grateful Heart". Participants received an inspirational gift and love offerings were accepted in support of the Bahamas District Hurricane Relief.

Happy Birthday Pilots!
Pilot International Founders Day gives us the opportunity to remember and celebrate the formation of a dynamic and service driven organization. We enthusiastically pause to salute our legacy makers who provide our members with the motivation and inspiration to continue the legacy for many years to come.
As we celebrate, let us always remember that we are resilient and enthusiastic men and women who believe in friendship and service. We are “Pilot Strong” and will continue to live on for many years to come!

PIFF FOUNDERS DAY WALK - 2020
October 3rd is the Pilot International Founders Fund Walk. Many Pilots have ordered shirts. Also on that date is the District Souse-Out event. The plan is to walk and then enjoy delicious Souse.
The District Anchor Coordinator has scheduled a Mental Health and Wellness Talk for Anchors to take place on Friday 10th October.
DISTRICT INSTALLATION
The District held its annual installation ceremony online via ZOOM. Members recorded their acceptance pledge and all components of the program were recorded to video for an online ceremony.
members were provided with a printed installation program prior to the event online.
INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS CEREMONY
At a special web conference meeting, the Officers and Appointees for the upcoming year (2020-2021) were installed.
Governor of the Bahamas District, Dellareese Edgecombe, was the installing officer. Governor Dellareese is also a proud member of The Sunshine Pilot Club of Nassau.
The Installation meeting took place on Tuesday, June 16th at 6:30 PM under the theme
"Embracing Change, Enlarging Our Vision"

DISTRICT CONVENTION:
Clubs Get Connected
Every year, for the past 15 years, Pilot Clubs of The Bahamas have met in convention to review events of the past year, discuss the state of the district, elect and install new officers and appointees for the upcoming year.
The location of the convention depends on the island on which the incoming governor resides and has varied from New Providence, Grand Bahama to Abaco.
