It was a joint initiative with the Anchor Club of Aquinas College and Anchor Club of Hope Academy Clothing and grocery items initiative.
The Anchor Club of Aquinas prepared Care Packages for distribution as a District "Anchor Service Project Helping Hands for the Hungry & Homeless".
Captain Gertha accepted on behalf of the Salvation Army and the Community centre. She thanked us for our generous donation yet another year and that they will go along way in assisting with the needs in the community.
In attendance at the Presentation today were Governor Dorian Cox, President Sheila McPhee, Anchor Advisors Carol Edwards & Deborah Barry. Pilots Beverley Bethel, Jill Saunders and Yvette Cooper were also in attendance with Anchor Director Kayliah from the Anchor Club of Hope Academy along with her mother and aunt.
